Renter Resources

Strong renters build strong communities. Whether you are searching for an affordable place to live, facing a housing challenge, or just want to know your rights as a tenant, help is available. These programs offer rental assistance, legal guidance, and education to keep you and your family stable and secure in your home.

Rental help and housing stability

  • Cleveland Housing Network: CHN Housing Partners offers help for renters at every stage, whether you are searching for an affordable place to live, trying to stay housed during a rough patch, or dreaming of homeownership someday. Their team provides rental listings, eviction prevention help, financial coaching, and housing stability support to guide you forward.
  • Benjamin Rose rental counseling: Benjamin Rose offers rental counseling to help you stay in your home when things get tight. They will guide you through your options, like tenant rights, budgeting, finding affordable units, and connecting you with local support services.
  • Benjamin Rose small-dollar loan: If you are facing a financial or housing emergency in Cuyahoga County (like overdue rent, utilities, or medical expenses), Benjamin Rose offers a short-term $300 to $1,000 loan with 0% interest and no origination fees. Those who qualify also receive free financial counseling to help prevent crises in the future.

Tenant rights and repairs

  • Euclid Municipal Court Rent Escrow Program: If your landlord won't make needed repairs, you can pay your rent to the court instead of the landlord until the issues are fixed. You must live in Euclid, be current on rent, and give written notice to your landlord first.

City of Euclid

Food assistance

  • The Euclid Hunger Center: The Euclid Hunger Center operates as a choice pantry for the residents of Euclid. The pantry allows families to have options, eliminates waste, and creates a more dynamic relationship between volunteers and families. Volunteers are dedicated to the motto of "neighbors helping neighbors." Whether you are interested in joining the team or in need of services, you are welcome to reach out.
