Money Moves
Smart money moves start early.
Money isn't just something you spend. It's something you make decisions about every day.
Money Moves is a hands-on financial education program that brings middle school students and their parents or guardians together to learn practical skills for managing money.
Over six sessions, families explore real-life financial choices through games, activities, conversations and challenges they can continue at home. This isn't about memorizing financial terms. It's about understanding how decisions today can shape opportunities tomorrow.
What students and families will learn
- The difference between needs and wants
- How to set realistic savings goals
- How to create and use a simple budget
- How to keep track of money coming in and going out

- How to talk about money and financial goals as a family
